AusLogics BoostSpeed 7.3.2
You don’t need to do anything wrong to slow down your PC’s performance involuntarily. Uninstalled programs, cookies, Internet browsing, files stored temporarily on your computer, and a number of unsolicited junk files will clog up your system and slow its working speed. AusLogics BoostSpeed has been designed to optimize your system’s functionality by getting rid of any issue that may affect its normal performance.
BoostSpeed performs thorough and fast scans of your disks and system trying to locate any issue that may affect any of the three most sensitive areas of your computer – disk space, system stability, and computer speed. Its attractive, colorful, and extremely well structured interface will then show you a very informative report of your PC’s situation, and will offer to fix all issues found with just one click of your mouse.
A second – and equally important – check has also detected all the traces that your Internet browsing activities have been leaving behind since the last clean-up, and which may become a threat to your privacy. These traces refer to cookies, to adult websites – regardless of you visiting this pages or not – logins, profile data, and any other “breadcrumb trails” left behind by your Web activities, with or without your consent.
One of my favorite sections of the program is Live Speedup. Here you can switch on or off up to five utilities that will take care of your system’s performance and speed while idle. Here you can activate a memory optimization function that will clear your PC memory from unnecessary processes, giving priority to those other programs that really need it. Likewise, you can switch on a Processor Optimization tool that provides higher processing power to those apps that are running at the time. An auto-defragmentation tool, a disk priority manager, and a desktop protection tool to protect your Windows from crashing complete this highly useful section.
This new version of the program comes with up to 19 extra tools and utilities that will improve your system’s speed and performance, and will help you keep your disks clean and error-free. Thus, you will find a registry cleaner, a startup manager, a registry defragmenter, a duplicate file finder, a locked files manager, an uninstall manager, a couple of Internet optimizers, a file shredder, or a “Disk Doctor” (to monitor your disks’ health), among others.
BoostSpeed is a highly configurable tool. You can set the program to perform advanced scans, to repair “system-critical” issues, to use a specific file wiping method, to ignore specific paths and folders during the scanning process, to check and clean up your system at specific times on specific days or at given time intervals, and to create restore points and backups for all or selected areas.
To make the most of BoostSpeed’s capabilities you need to acquire a license to go Premium. Unlike most trial versions of similar optimization tools, the free version available from BoostSpeed will certainly clean up your system and will tweak it for a better performance, but you will miss the benefits provided by all the other extraordinary tools mentioned above.
